Dr. Rindie Coker, D.N. "If you've been told you have to learn to live with it, now is the time to learn to live without it." Dr. Rindie Coker, DN bases her practice philosophy around the body as a self-healing, self-regulating organism. Health is our natural state, but sometimes everyday stress throws us enough out of balance that illness or injury results. Dr. Coker uses structural, nutritional, biochemical and energetic methods of evaluation and treatment to find the cause of these imbalances and to direct the body as it corrects them. She also looks into the lifestyle factors that are affecting your health. Dr. Coker received her Doctor of Naprapathy from Chicago National College of Naprapathy and BS in Human Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She has been in practice as a naprapath since 2001 and as a nutrition counselor and bioenergetic practitioner since 1999. The main focus of her practice is Neuromodulation Technique Advanced Level, as she believes this is the best healing system to date that addresses the problems in self-regulation that lead to any dysfunction or disease. She is certified as a HealthExcel Metabolic Typing Advisor and in Reconnective Healing. She also conducts a computerized assessment using a SpectraScan device to determine environmental stressors and then creates a custom homeopathic remedy to help your body deal with this stress. Dr. Coker continues her education through seminars in musculoskeletal techniques, functional nutrition, endocrinology, homeopathy, and bioenergetic work. Her specialty is chronic pain and inflammatory conditions, digestive, hormonal and respiratory disorders. |

Rick and Connie Vrenios, nationally known holistic healers, founded and refined this unique bodywork practice. Phillip received Reiki Level 1 attunement in 1996 and Reiki Level lll, Master/Teacher in 1999 from Steve and Karyn Mitchell, also pioneers and experts in Reiki, the Usui Method of Natural Healing. He works at the North Shore Senior Center and at The Well in Evanston, joining the latter group in January, 2008. Phillip is married to Bernadette Racette. The couple have two adult sons. Phillip enjoys Native American drumming and flute playing. He is a "fan-a-tic" for the Chicago Bulls basketball team. His greatest joy is expressing himself through Reiki. Eva Gairabetoff, BA Reiki Master Teacher and Energetic Healing Practitioner Eva Gairabetoff has been studying energy work since 1998, though her actual interest in healing started much earlier than that. While many people enjoy reading novels, Ms. Gairabetoff would rather read about herbs, essential oils, spirituality and other ways of healing. In her twenties she began a life-long interest in Yoga and meditation. In 1998, Ms. Gairabetoff began a deeper exploration of energy work with a Korean practice that used Ki-energy (bio-energy) for healing by balancing the meridians and energy centers. She learned to feel, store and move Ki-energy. Several years later, she began her study of Reiki and became a Reiki Master Teacher and proceeded to learn Healing Touch as well. She began working with family, friends and pets and enjoyed it so much that she has expanded her practice and helped many clients achieve excellent results. Ms. Gairabetoff uses these energy-based therapies to release stagnant energy and toxic emotions that can lead to illness. With hands-on energy-based techniques, she balances and aligns the human energy field. Body, mind, emotion and spirit are touched through this therapeutic process empowering the recipient to participate fully in their own healing journey. Energetic healing is based on the premise that all healing is self healing. Ms. Gairabetoff became certified as a Reiki Master Teacher in Usui Reiki in May 2003. She has completed three out of five levels of courses and is working toward full certification in Healing Touch. She has taken classes in and practices Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), meditation, intuitive healing, Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry, aromatherapy, Yoga and Tai Chi. As a volunteer with the Chicagoland Healing Touch Alliance at Alexian Brothers Cancer Center, Ms. Gairabetoff also provides Healing Touch treatments for private patients. She is a member of Healing Touch International and the Infinity Foundation. Ms. Gairabetoff offers sessions by appointment. |
