About Our Services

The Well, a Wellness Center offers a wide range of techniques that all have the same intent: to find out what is wrong and to help your body heal itself. Some will be more familiar than others but all are backed by clinical and scientific evidence.  All services are compatible with your primary physician's orders.

Naprapathic Medicine

The word naprapathy comes from the Czech word napravit, which means "to correct or fix," combined with the Greek word pathos, which means "suffering." So naprapathy means to correct suffering. Naprapaths evaluate and treat connective tissue disorders. Practitioners of this 100 year old healing system manipulate the muscles, tendons and ligaments of the body in order to alleviate tension and promote a feeling of well-being. Naprapaths believe that improper tension in these connective tissues, often triggered by stress and trauma, cause imbalances in the rest of the body. These imbalances may interfere with nerve function, blood flow and lymph movement. When these vital pathways are obstructed or compromised, pain and distant pathology may result. Most people see naprapaths to alleviate body pain, but connective tissue disorders can also cause headaches and digestive discomfort.

Treatment by licensed Doctors of Naprapathy (DN) are based on scientific principles and are gentle, comfortable, highly effective and non-invasive.

Neuromodulation Technique

Suppose your body was a computer and this computer got a virus, or some other "bug" in its programming. You could press all the right buttons, power down and reboot, but the system still wouldn't work quite right because it was accessing faulty information. Neuromodulation Technique, or NMT, is an energetic technique that is based on the premise that all dysfunction in the body, be it allergies, chronic pain, immune system problems, and even certain emotional issues, is caused by faulty information in the autonomic control system of the body. Like the computer's operating system, this control system is responsible for knowing what goes on in every cell of your body so it can maintain homeostasis, or self regulation. It is also known as the autonomic or involuntary nervous system. According to its founder, Dr. Leslie Feinberg, DC,  NMT works by identifying errors in the body's operating system and correcting them so that the body can correct itself. This is done using muscle response testing (kinesiology) and specific language to identify and correct the errors. The Three-Step Detox
This could be both the best and the hardest few weeks you've ever spent regaining your health. Developed by Dr. Abbas Qutab, MD, this program addresses some of the main causes of ill health and reduced quality of life: structural problems, food sensitivities, inflammation, hidden infections and toxins in food, in the environment, and even those produced by the body itself. The three steps, each lasting a week to ten days, include a nutritious shake, specific natural foods, and supplements designed to improve functioning of the liver, adrenal glands, thyroid, and the digestive system. Some people have a reduction of food sensitivities, cravings, and chronic infections. Everyone notices an increase in energy and well-being. It's also a great kickoff to a general healthy eating program. Call for your personal "How Toxic Am I?" evaluation.
